Please join us for a luncheon presentation by Commissioner Collette Serio on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.  All are welcome to attend.  The presentation is entitled “Stopping the Cycle of Violence One Case at a Time: A Look at Pasadena’s Domestic Violence Court.”

Comr. Serio presides over one of longest running Domestic Violence Courts in Los Angeles County, co-founded by her and on-going since 1996. Since January 2004, she has presided over trials with the Teen Court program at Taft High School in Woodland Hills. As part of the program she has worked with the Museum of Tolerance and has been involved as an instructor in the SHADES program.

Comr. Serio was named as the PBA’s 2013 Judge of The Year.
